with的用法讲解

with结构是许多英语复合结构中最常用的一种。学好它对学好复合宾语结构、不定式复合结构、动名词复合结构和独立主格结构均能起很重要的作用。下面我们就with的用法来进行讲解。

1．having; carrying具有；带有
Soon he came to a river with a wooden bridge over it. 不久，他来到了架有木头桥的河边。
2．word that shows what you are using用；使用（工具、手段等）
He was writing with a pencil. 他在用铅笔写字
3．word that shows things or people are together 与…一道；跟…一起
Robert is playing with his friend. 罗伯特跟他的朋友在一起玩
4．on the same side; agree in 在…一边；与…一致；拥护
Are you with us or against us 你是拥护我们还是反对我们
5. With用于构成“with+n（pron）+补语”复合结构 ，该结构主要做状语 ，表示方式，原因，条件等，也可做定语但必须后置。
With a face all smiles （名词）he told us that he had passed the entrance examination.
